Tomato is a wonderfully delicious
and valuable product. The key value of tomatoes is the antioxidants contained
in them. Especially valuable is the biological antioxidant lycopene that gives
it a red color. Heat-treated tomatoes (after baking or stewing) contain even
more lycopene than raw tomatoes; therefore, we offer a warm salad of baked
tomatoes that will be excellently supplemented by chickpea crackers
"Krippu".
Ingredients:
“Krippu” crackers or sticks
700 g tomatoes,
300 g onions,
20 g basil,
20 g dill,
3-5 tablespoons cooking oil,
1 - 2 teaspoons pepper mix,
½ teaspoon salt.
Preparation:
- Cut tomatoes in slices and place them on the
baking tray in one layer.
- Peel the onions, cut them into slices, and place them on top
of tomatoes.
- Grind the pepper, mix it with salt and sprinkle
on tomatoes and onions.
- Pour a small amount of oil for baking and place
in an oven preheated to 180 °C to bake.
- Bake approx. 20 min, so that onions would be baked and
still crispy.
- Place the salad on a plate and decorate with chopped
dill and basil.
